The Utiel-Requena region is at 800 m ASL in inland Valencia, where its clayey soil and summer temperature contrasts – hot days and cool nights – are ideal for obtaining fine wines with intense, elegant aromas.

Elaboration

Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27ºC, and then it is carefully aged in American oak casks for 12 months.

Tasting notes

The ageing of this wine confers this reserve with an intense cherry red colour with orange tones. Its bouquet presents intense aromas of red fruits and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and long with an elegant, spicy finish. Serve at 18ºC.
