The Regulatory Council of the Appellation of Origin Valencia has described the 2020 vintage as Excellent, after the evaluation of the wines from the different sub-areas of this appellation by its winemakers.
For the president of DO Valencia, Mr, Cosme Gutiérrez, theese are magnificent news “since 2016 such an exceptional harvest has not been seen”. In addition, this year given the very complicated context that we are experiencing as a result of the health crisis, “this excellent qualification of the vintage is undoubtedly a very positive argument when we trade with our wines, which go on sale with an exceptional quality”, he assured.
In this sense, it should be remembered that “this year the weather has behaved in a very optimal way for the vines. Added to this is the great work of the vine growers and winemakers, who with their effort and passion have made our wines go on the market with fantastic quality”, he added.
2020 Vintage already on the market
