Another Year Moving Together Toward a Sustainable Future
“I am pleased to continue reporting major milestones in our history—a long journey spanning 140 years in which we have experienced complex historical moments but have always managed to adapt, grow, and evolve.
In this sense, embracing sustainability is essential to maintain our position and continue growing organically. Through our IMPULSE Program, we take new steps every year on this path, guided by the roadmap toward sustainability.
One of the main areas we focus on is improving the environmental sustainability of our activities, striving for greater rigor in data collection, as reflected in the carbon footprint calculation, which this year was externally verified for the first time. We can also see how we are making steady progress toward decarbonization, while being aware that there is still a long way to go.
We also highlight the optimization of natural resources and the design of initiatives that allow us to keep improving toward a circular economy business model.
Our commitment to sustainable viticulture is also paying off, as it not only improves the health of our vineyards but also strengthens our organic wines, which are progressively gaining greater market presence.
On the social front, we have continued working on the “Som Albufera” project to contribute to preserving this unique environment and promoting the social and cultural progress of the local community.
Furthermore, decades of dedication have positioned us as one of Spain’s most innovative wineries with strong international projection—a fact we reaffirmed in 2024 with the launch of Bobal Dulce, reinforcing our commitment to Valencian wines.
Finally, we must highlight the invaluable work of all the people who are part of Vicente Gandía, as they are the driving force that allows us to keep moving forward and make our ambitions a reality. That’s why we continuously work to improve their working conditions and ensure they feel proud to belong to our team.
