Last night, the Mediterranean Marketing Club organized a new edition of the MIA Awards that were delivered during the 10th edition of the Mediterranean Marketing Night that took place at the Palacio de Congresos in Valencia.
Javier Gandia – General Director of Bodegas Vicente Gandia
In this edition, Bodegas Vicente Gandía was recognized with the MIA-International Marketing Award. This category recognizes the international marketing actions of companies in the Valencian Community that have developed their strategy, generating visibility and dissemination of their brand in foreign markets. Bodegas Vicente Gandía’s wines are present in around 100 countries and each market requires a different type of action adapted to each situation. Among these actions, stands out the one carried out in Japan with a campaign on social media for the Sandara brand.
The winery was also nominated for the MIA-Product or Service Innovation Award with the new 250 ml Sandara aluminum bottle format. A new packaging that brings wine closer to new consumers and that explores new moments of alternative consumption to the traditional ones in the world of wine. In addition, aluminum is a highly recyclable material and as it weighs much less than glass, it reduces CO2 emissions during transport. All this makes this material much more sustainable.
The magnificent level of the rest of the candidatures represented by the most important Valencian companies makes this award have a special value for the winery, which in this way find recognition its work in the Marketing field.
