The Valencian winery presents a large panel of activities during the most important gastronomic fair in the Mediterranean
The leading gastronomic fair in the Mediterranean, Gastrónoma 2023, is preparing for its next edition, which will be held from November 12 to 14 at Feria Valencia. Bodegas Vicente Gandia is once again present with a large panel of activities and its own space within the premises.
During Gastrónoma 2023, our Sommelier Maxi Bao will carry out two tastings in the Wine Experience space. A first tasting on Sunday the 12th at 11:45 a.m. on the Premium Range of Bodegas Vicente Gandia where we will taste: Clos de Gallur, Ceramic Monastrell aged in jars and the Bobals made up of Bobal Blanco and Bobal Negro. A second tasting on Tuesday the 14th at 11:45 a.m. on “Riedel glass tasting”. The same wine will be tasted, but in different types of glasses. Both tastings will take place in the Tasting Room of the “Wine Experience” space.

As a novelty, this year Vicente Gandía has organized, together with Verema, a national gastronomy and wine competition called DiVino Gourmet. The objective of this competition is to find the best experts in wine and gastronomy, whether professionals in the sector or amateurs. During these 3 days, participants will answer questions and perform culinary and oenological tests. The dishes will be evaluated by a jury made up of representatives of the sector and the gastronomic press.
The three finalists will win a series of awards:
First prize
Weekend trip to La Rioja to visit one of its wineries and enjoy its wines and the landscape of that region. In addition, this first prize has a financial prize of 2000 euros
Second prize
The second award consists of a tasting menu paired at the BonAmb restaurant in Jávea and a financial award of 700 euros
Third prize
The third award has a financial prize of 300 euros
All prizes will also have a box of wine from the participating and collaborating wineries of the Divino Gourmet Contest.
