At Bodegas Vicente Gandía, we enthusiastically celebrate the recognition received at the 12th Edition of the Vino Varietal 2025 Competition by Verema — a contest that honors the quality of wines made with a dominant grape variety (at least 80%), protected by a Designation of Origin, Geographical Indication, or certified as Varietal Wine. This year, our wines have been awarded a total of seven medals, reaffirming our commitment to quality, innovation, and respect for tradition.
The award-winning wines

- Vicente Gandía Bobal Dulce 2024 – 🥇 Gold Medal

What does it mean to win a Grand Gold Medal?
The Grand Gold Medal is the highest recognition a wine can receive in this type of competition. It is only awarded to wines that achieve an exceptional level of excellence during blind tastings. These wines stand out for their superior quality and their ability to convey character in every glass. In this edition, Vicente Gandía Bobal Blanco 2024 earned this distinction thanks to its freshness, aromatic intensity, and balance on the palate.

Bobal: the essence of our identity
The Bobal grape variety, native to the Utiel-Requena D.O., has been the star of this edition. Its versatility allows us to craft white, red, sparkling, and sweet wines with a distinctive and authentic personality. This year, four of our Bobal-based wines have been awarded, reinforcing our commitment to this emblematic grape: Vicente Gandía Bobal Blanco, Vicente Gandía Bobal Negro, Vicente Gandía Bobal Dulce, and Vicente Gandía Bobal Brut.

Ceramic: design, elegance, and excellence
The Ceramic range has once again stood out for its balance between aesthetics and quality. Inspired by Valencian ceramics, this collection blends tradition and modernity, and has been recognized with three gold medals: Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc 2023, Ceramic Monastrell Rosé 2024, and Ceramic Monastrell 2022.
