Ceramic by Bodegas Vicente Gandía supports the exhibition “La leyenda del Titanic” at Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts Digitals

At Bodegas Vicente Gandía, we have always firmly believed in the transformative power of culture and in the responsibility to preserve and disseminate historical heritage. Therefore, we are proud to announce that our Ceramic brand has become an official partner of the exhibition “The Legend of the Titanic,” a unique immersive experience hosted by Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts Digitals, one of Valencia’s most singular and vibrant cultural spaces.

This project is much more than a collaboration: it is an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to the history, art and Mediterranean roots that inspire our understanding of wine.

Support born from a genuine bond between Ceramic and Bombas Gens

The connection between Ceramic and Bombas Gens arose naturally. Our brand was launched in this iconic Valencian architectural complex, specifically at the Michelin-starred Ricard Camarena Restaurant, a benchmark of contemporary gastronomic excellence. It’s a space where tradition, creativity, and a deep appreciation for raw materials intertwine—values we fully share at our winery.

Bombas Gens is not just a cultural center: it’s a place that preserves memory. Among its most surprising features is its medieval wine cellar, an archaeological space that houses original ceramic amphorae, silent witnesses to the history of wine in the Mediterranean. For us, this discovery represents a direct connection to the essence of Ceramic Monastrell aged in barrels and matured in amphorae, a wine that pays homage to ancestral winemaking methods.

Ceramics, history and wine: an age-old connection that inspires us

Thousands of years ago, the Greeks and Romans already used ceramic jars for the production, transport, and storage of wine. Aging in jars imparts great freshness and expressiveness, while barrel aging lends our wines great finesse and elegance, allowing them to fully respect the specific characteristics of our terroir.

Ceramic and Bombas Gens: an experience that invites you to live, feel and remember

As part of this collaboration, in addition to the visit to the immersive exhibition “La Leyenda del Titanic. La exposición definitiva en Bombas Gens” , the cultural center also offers the opportunity to discover its historical and heritage surroundings through the guided tour “Bombas Gens: Inhabited Memory,” a guided itinerary that explores different historical spaces that have been preserved and restored following the building’s renovation. Along the route, visitors can discover industrial remains of the former Bombas Gens hydraulic pump factory to understand the lives of the workers who shaped the Marxalenes neighborhood, descend into the air-raid shelter and imagine themselves in the shoes of those who lived through the Spanish Civil War, or go down to the medieval cellar, an archaeological find discovered during the renovation of the old industrial complex that demonstrates the area’s agricultural past.

The visitors to this tour can add, as the perfect ending to the guided route, a tasting of Ceramic Monastrell Tinto. This experience will allow attendees to enjoy a complete sensory journey that unites history, culture, and oenology in a single space.
