Vicente Gandia Bobal Negro by Pepe Hidalgo, Clos de Gallur and Nebla Verdejo Rosé awarded the Gold Medal in the in the Asia Wine Trophy 2023
The Valencian winery has started the “23/24 course” in the best way. Vicente Gandia has obtained three Gold Medals in the most important competition in the Asian market: the Asia Wine Trophy 2023. For this competition, it was held in South Korea and more than 3,700 wines from 34 countries were registered. The jury was made up of 103 international tasters who evaluated the products during the four days of the event.

Vicente Gandia Bobal Negro by Pepe Hidalgo has obtained a Gold Medal. This wine stands out for being intense red in color, with a violet rim and dense tears. Aroma of broom, red fruit and English caramel with light smoky nuances. In the mouth it is resounding, filling the mouth, leaving oaky sensations.
This red wine is the second consecutive year that it has obtained a relevant medal in this competition. It belongs to the winery’s range of premium wines and since its launch it has only achieved great joy for the winery.
Clos de Gallur with a Gold Medal. It stands out for its ruby red with reflections of the same color. High intensity of ripe red fruit with excellent complexity and delicate memory of new oak wood. Fleshy, with very polished tannin. Round, elegant and with a very long finish.
Nebla Verdejo Rosé receives a Gold Medal. Pale pink in color with exquisite aromas of fennel, tropical fruit and a background of red fruits. In the mouth it is characterized by its freshness and its integrated acidity. A fragrant and very aromatic wine.
These awards highlight the international winery’s desire and the reputation of its wines within these markets. Furthermore, they confirm once again the potential that the wines of our land give off for the Asian market.
