Bodegas Vicente Gandía wins award at the 2025 Valencia Hospitality Awards

The Federación Empresarial de Hostelería de Valencia (FEHV) has recognized Bodegas Vicente Gandía for its commitment to the hospitality and gastronomy sector in the Valencian Community at the 2025 Valencia Hospitality Awards with the “Loyalty and Support to the Sector” award.

The gala was held last Monday, October 6, at the Oceanografic’s Red Sea Auditorium, where the most outstanding entities in the sector were recognized.

The jury, composed of a panel of prestigious experts from the culinary and business worlds, evaluated the numerous entries submitted for this edition, highlighting the winery’s track record, innovation, and commitment to the Valencian hospitality industry.

The jury included Sergio Terol, president of the Valencian Community Academy of Gastronomy; Belén Arias, a member of the same institution; Cuchita Lluch, a member of the Royal Spanish Academy of Gastronomy; Paula Pons, journalist and director of the Guía Hedonista; Mónica Morales, head of tourism at the Cámara Valencia; Luis Valls, chef of the El Poblet restaurant (2 Michelin stars); Manuela Romeralo, National Gastronomy Award winner; Nuria Sanz, president of the Valencia Restaurant Association; and the managers of Makro, Francisco López and Alexandru Tomesu.

“Receiving this recognition from the FEHV is an honor we share with all the industry professionals who trust in our wines. This award reaffirms our commitment to Valencian gastronomy and to continuing to bring the name of our land to all corners of the world,” said Maximiliano Bao, who accepted the award on behalf of Bodegas Vicente Gandía.

During the gala, a special mention was also presented to Vicente Rioja for the centenary of the Rioja Restaurant in Benisanó.

This year’s edition also awarded a series of special mentions to organizations and companies for their work in response to the DANA. In this regard, recognition was given to
World Central Kitchen and the Valencia Food Bank, and a special mention was given to the affected hospitality businesses, which Raúl Aliaga of Taberna Aliaga in Catarroja will symbolically accept.
