Bodegas Vicente Gandia bets on his most iconic brand and makes a restyling focused in innovation and design
The prestogious winemaker, Luis Garcia Severino, created our Ceremonia Reserva. This fantastic coupage of selected varieties was made in 1996 being the first Valencian signature wine. An exquisite combination of the noble Tempranillo and Cabernet varieties. A pioneering author’s wine in Utiel – Requena. Grapes from selected vineyards of the Hoya de Cadenas Estate, where the combination of lime-clay soil and summer temperature contrasts – hot days and cool nights – is ideal for obtaining wines with intense aromas and excellent concentration.
Ceremonia Reserva was a pioneer in the mid-90s because it was the first signature wine from Bodegas Vicente Gandia at a time when the quality of Valencian wines was about to explode. In its first vintage, Ceremonia achieved recognition in the form of various gold medals at the international level and managed to enter the menus of the most prestigious restaurants in Spain such as Bulli or Arzak. This meant for the rest of Valencian wines quality and prestige that has grown since then
Currently, the range has been extended with a new wine called Ceremonia Bobal. This excellent wine is made from 100% Bobal, which is the most important indigenous grape from the appellation of origin Utiel-Requena. This is a modern and elegant wine with red cherry colour and brillant tones. In the nose presents an elegant range of berries with medium- toasted oak notes. In the mouth the tannins are mature and soft. The aftertaste is persistent, its shows all the elegance of the bobal variety harvested at optimum time.
And the last one to complete the range was Ceremonia Monastrell Blanc de Noirs, a white wine made with a red variety, which collects the essence of the autochthonous variety of Alicante. Its a straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections. Releases aromas reminiscent of tropical fruit and apricots with a hint of plum. Full-bodied in the mouth with an elegant sharpness and pleasant after-taste.
Bodegas Vicente Gandia bets on Ceremonia range as since 1996 It has been a wine brand that has positioned the Valencian wine. In addition, the winery wants to continue betting on design and innovation, so it has carried out a restyling of the brand in order to continue growing both in the national and international markets.
