Hoya de Cadenas Estate recognized with the SICTED Distinctive from the Secretary of State for Tourism

Hoya de Cadenas Estate, the Wine Tourism Center of Bodegas Vicente Gandía receives one more year the SICTED DISTINCTIVE. This certificate verifies compliance with the requirements established in the methodology and recognizes the effort and commitment to quality and continuous improvement, while distinguishing the establishment / service from the competition.

The Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations, or SICTED, is a project to improve the quality of the different tourist destinations in Spain with the aim of offering tourists within the same destination a uniform level of quality in services.

Our colleague Laura Pérez, head of Wine Tourism at Finca Hoya de Cadenas, has attended the delivery of the SICTED distinctive. One more year and with a lot of effort we have been distinguished with the commitment of tourist quality in destination (Utiel) with the assistance of the regional secretary for Tourism Francesc Colomer.

Hoya de Cadenas Estate which is open to the public, offers a 90-minute guided tour where you can take a complete visit of the winery to enjoy an exceptional place. You can discover the secrets that oenology holds and feel the caress of nature in a paradisiacal environment while we enjoy the best wines in their place of origin. You can live an unforgettable day visiting the Finca Hoya de Cadenas, a world full of sensations.

Hoya de Cadenas estate is located around the fields where the best varieties are harvested in order to make our wines. Within them, the necessary climatic conditions are developed to obtain the best products from which to create wines of excellent quality and flavour.

Bodegas Vicente Gandía is a centenary winery founded in Valencia in 1885. It is currently run by the 4th generation of the Gandía family. It remains faithful to its founding values: to contribute to the progress and well-being of society by betting on quality and innovation without forgetting the winemaking tradition of which it is heir. It has always been characterized by its international eagerness. This fact has allowed this winery’s wines to be present in more than 90 countries on 5 continents.

The winery is considered the largest winery in the Valencian Community and the best winery in terms of value for money in Spain according to the ratings of the Peñín Guide. In 2014 it was awarded as the best Spanish winery by the prestigious international competition AWC Vienna. In 2018 it was considered Best European Winery by obtaining the “Aurum European Oenogastronomic” award from CEUCO, the European Confederation of Oenogastronomic Brotherhoods.
