Bodegas Vicente Gandía signs its most successful participation in the 2022 Mediterranean Gastronomic Fair

The Valencian winery shows its ambitious new oenological project in this event leading the Wine Experience space

The Mediterranea Gastronoma fair was held at Feria Valencia, has obtained this year a record number of visitors and exhibitors, closing the most massive edition in history. The event has grown by 30% in 2022, going from one pavilion to two and welcoming thousands of professional visitors who have filled the different spaces.

Bodegas Vicente Gandía has led the Wine Experience space, dedicated to the wine industry in this gastronomic event. In this space you can find the best Valencian wine references in the Wine Tunnel and enjoy a great program of content in its two tasting rooms.

The winery has participated in different presentations in the Wine Experience program. We were able to see, among other things, a tasting in which Javier Gandía and Pepe Mendoza gave a magnificent presentation to the audience of their oenological projects and later the prestigious sommelier Custodio Zamarra made a tasting of the most representative wines from the two wineries. In another of the tastings we were able to see the sommelier Maxi Bao, the new brand ambassador of Bodegas Vicente Gandía, and its technical director Pepe Hidalgo developping a masterful tasting of their new oenological project that is made up of the 5 most representative wines of the winery: Clos de Gallur , Ceramic Monastrell and the Bobal Trilogy made up of Bobal Blanco, Bobal Rosa and Bobal Negro.

In addition to participating in the Wine Experience program, this year the winery also had a leading role in the Cocina Central space where it participated in one of the presentations given by chef Alberto Ferruz from the Bon Amb Restaurant, which has two Michelin stars. The presentation delighted the attendees as it discussed how to choose the right wines to make a perfect pairing. Alberto Ferruz delighted us with a show cooking cooking two dishes live and the sommelier of the Bon Amb restaurant Enrique García explained the reason for choosing the wines that accompanied the two gastronomic works of art that had just been prepared. The wines chosen were Clos from Gallur and Bobal Blanco, both from the Vicente Gandía winery. Maxi Bao was in charge of carrying out the tasting of these two wines using the best tool for it, the Riedel glasses that are distributed in Valencia by Vicente Gandía.
