The national competition, which will take place in Gastrónoma on November 12 and 13, aims to find the person with the most knowledge and skills in gastronomy and oenology by carrying out theoretical and practical tests. This initiative is carried out by Bodegas Vicente Gandía and Verema.
Verema and Vicente Gandía look for the best experts in wine and gastronomy, whether professionals in the sector or amateurs, at Gastrónoma, the leading gastronomic fair in the Mediterranean.
Professionals, students from hospitality and sommelier schools and individuals passionate about cooking and oenology can participate in this first edition of the ‘DiVino Gourmet’ contest, an initiative launched by Bodegas Gandía and Verema, which is integrated into the framework of the space of Gastrónoma Wine Experience.
The jury of each edition will choose the winner of the title “DiVino Gourmet2023”, a preselection of 50 participants will be made from all those registered.
On November 12 and 13, Feria Valencia will become the scene of the most interesting phases: the semi-final and final of the competition. Participants will answer questions and perform culinary and oenological tests. The dishes will be evaluated by a jury made up of representatives of the sector and the gastronomic press.
The three finalists will win prizes that include travel, a financial award and a tasting menu at a restaurant in the Valencian Community.
