Last July, Bodegas Vicente Gandía presented Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc to the market in a 1.5-liter magnum format, of which they only produced 2,000 bottles. After exhausting the stock of the first vintage and due to the great reception of this oenological jewel by consumers, in this new 2023 vintage Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc will be presented in two formats, the 1.5 litre magnum and the bottle of 75 cl.
Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant white wine, with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and citrus such as mango and pineapple, herbaceous such as fresh hay and spices such as pepper and elderberry. Very good unctuous depth and a sweet and floral side. On the palate it is lively with good citric acidity and fine exotic smoked notes.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes with which this wine is made are born at the Hoya de Cadenas Estate, selecting the grains at the right moment of maturation to obtain the best raw material. The pressing is done gently to extract the purest juice from the fruit. Subsequently, the Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc fermentation takes place in oak barrels lightly toasted with volcanic stone imported from Iceland, this, unlike directly applying the flame on the staves, gives this wine a unique nuance. Finally, the wine has been refined in a clay jar to offer it a range of different nuances.
Bodegas Vicente Gandía continues to focus on wines of high expression, consolidating its ambitious project to position itself among the best wineries in the world. Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc, Ceramic Monastrell and Clos de Gallur are brands that are part of their iconic wines that are positioning themselves at a very high level and are contributing to Valencian wine becoming increasingly recognized and obtaining a better reputation.
The latest vintage of these wine ranges is now available and we can assure you that they exceed the expectations of previous vintages.
