Vicente Gandia gets international recognition at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

Four wines from the Valencian winery have obtained a Gold Medal

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has gained a reputation as the largest traveling wine tasting competition. He has visited countless wine capitals including Lisbon, Bordeaux, Valladolid, Valencia, Luxembourg, Guimaraes, Bratistlava, Aigle, Beijing and Brno. Throughout the competition, more than 10,000 bottles from around the world were tasted in three days. The award-winning wines were selected for their quality, expression and balance by a team of 320 renowned tasters. This year, 7,504 wines from 50 different nationalities competed for recognition in Croatia.

The competition, held from May 12 to 14, has awarded Bodegas Vicente Gandia a total of five awards, reaffirming its place at the pinnacle of the wine industry.

The wines that have been awarded have been:

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

Bobal Blanco with Gold Medal. A white wine has been made with red grapes of the Bobal variety. It is yellow in color with gray and reddish backgrounds. Aroma of wild strawberry, white flowers and ripe white fruit. In the mouth it presents an integrated, refreshing acidity with a long finish reminiscent of berries.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

Bobal Rosa with Gold Medal. It has a very pale pink color with copper reflections. On the nose it expresses delicate aromas of rose, red fruit and grapefruit. On the palate it is agile, fresh and on the palate very friendly and unctuous.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

El Miracle Nº1 with a Gold Medal. Intense red in color with violet hues. Aromas of ripe red fruit, plum and notes of caramel emerge on the nose. On the palate, its great structure stands out, with soft tannins and a persistent finish.

Nebla Verdejo with Gold Medal. Attractive straw yellow color with greenish tones. On the nose we find all the typical Verdejo: fennel, freshly cut hay and tropical fruits (pineapple and mango). Its palate is unctuous with a great fruity finish and refreshing acidity.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

El Miracle Nº3 with Silver Medal. This white wine has an attractive straw yellow color with greenish tones. Gives off an aroma of white flowers with tropical notes. On the palate, it is fresh, friendly and with elegant acidity.

After this benchmark oenological event, Vicente Gandia has emerged with prestige and distinction at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2023, once again demonstrating the superiority of its wines.
